kyscreen (P) Ltd. Opens Delhi Branch
Much-awaited office will cater to the needs of printers in the North India region with a quicker response time
A couple of months ago, when SkyScreen (P) Ltd. inaugurated its new Stretching facility in Delhi, the printers gathered for the function had welcomed the new development. They had also voiced a desire to have the company set up its branch office at Delhi and formally requested Anil Brahmbhatt, Managing Director, SkyScreen (P) Ltd. to do so whenever feasible. Even in their wildest dreams they would not have expected that this wish would be granted so quickly. The very next month, at the launch function of SkyScreen’s ‘Ready to Print Stencil’ Facility at Mumbai, Anil Brahmbhatt capped off the evenings proceedings with yet another blockbuster announcement – the launch of SkyScreen’s branch office at Delhi the next morning. The dawn of September 15th witnessed him flying to Delhi along with Guest of Honour Martin Statcher, Sales Director (Asia), Ulano Corporation, USA, who had specially flown down from Singapore to grace the SkyScreen inaugurations with his presence.
Taking a conscious decision to restrict the number of invitees at just 40, Team SkyScreen were pleasantly surprised to see 35 of them gathered at the Delhi branch premises at the scheduled inauguration time. By Delhi standards, this response far exceeded all expectations. After cutting the ceremonial ribbon, the invitees stepped into the spacious SkyScreen premises at WH-1, First Floor, Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase I, New Delhi 110064, a location where a significant number of printing units operate from. The excellent facility made a very good impression on the guests, who expressed their appreciation.
Anil Brahmbhatt pointed out that “We have responded to the overwhelming demand by printers from in and around Delhi in the shortest possible time. We are making a conscious attempt to raise the quality standards of the screen printing industry across India and Delhi will be one of our key focus areas.”
Anil Brahmbhatt pointed out that “We have responded to the overwhelming demand by printers from in and around Delhi in the shortest possible time. With the support of DR Optical we are able to actively serve the printers in North India. Our branch office has opened within their premises, so they have facilitated this inauguration to a large extent. We will be able to keep our full stock of products here and there will be many commercial advantages as well. This is our next step after opening a Stretching facility with ultra-modern equipment for perfect results in Delhi two months ago. This decision exemplifi es our commitment towards the North India region. We envisage this belt as being a key growth area for SkyScreen in the very near future.”
“We are making a conscious attempt to raise the quality standards of the screen printing industry across India and Delhi will be one of our key focus areas. This will also help us service our customers faster with a speedier response time. There is a great deal of untapped potential in North India and we feel that the Delhi branch will also enable us to substantially increase our customer base. We have ambitious growth plans and this is one of the milestones of the journey that SkyScreen has embarked upon right since its inception,” he added.
Martin Statcher declared that ‘It is a special occasion for us also as an alliance partner of SkyScreen. It is an important step, a milestone, which shows our commitment to India. This will put us apart from all other companies in the market. I am sure that screen printing in India will continue to grow. In 1996, at the FESPA show they had showcased digital process for the fi rst time. Everyone said then that screen printing will be edged out by it. Today, 14 years down the line, we are investing in screen printing. Screen printing is probably the most versatile printing method. Apart from water and air, you can print on almost anything. This is set to grow in Asia. This new SkyScreen branch at Delhi is a strong message that screen printing is not going to die. This shows we are on the right way.”
Devesh Rathod, Director, DOpticalDisc India (P) Ltd., a leading player in the scren printing industry, said, “We are working closely with SkyScreen in a mutual partnership.”
The new SkyScreen branch in Delhi is indeed something that was essentially required and now, the wishes of Delhi printers have indeed been fulfi lled. With an existing customer base of over 100 printers in New Delhi area, it seems SkyScreen is well on the fast track to growth in this part of India as well.
